Sorry about that again. I had some dude (could of been rudi or maybe passo) on inside of me and i was defending the line i had taken, and your ass (rear of car) just seemed to look so soft and comfortable, i mean i couldn't avoid it, i tried to go right, but after contact i had two other cars to avoid also.

Wont help your clocks too much (really depends if your headroom is a therrmal issue). Like pickard/rc10 mentions noise can be a factor, but there are quiet WC solutions.

If it was not for LFS i would be spending more time with.. Chess (PC & real stuff) Supreme Commander & the Total War seris of games.

Quake HL & UT seris of FPS stuff.
I like to think LFS combines a liitle of both the control and adrenalin that FPS and RTS thrive upon.

I do think its inevitable that there will be some egos blown in any forum. Hardware sites tend to be the worst at the kind of things your discussing. In this forums defence though, there are more then enough wise indiviiduals to counterbalance the issue of arrogance and idiosyncrasy on dsiplay now and again. Most new users tend to wait a while and get adjusted personally before entering in discussion here i would say (I know i did and still do).
Anyway I'll leave you with an age old saying to hopefully help you along.

Or maybe thats not helping at all in that case, I leave with these wise words.

Also check your USB power management settings in XP. I think tristan is right here though, as my experience of external drives, even 2.5" can require a little more juice then what the USB port can provide.
Ive spent a day or two in the driving seat once or twice ... ahh crap okay more then twice juggling admining the server, racing and refilling the kettle.
I also remember doing over 1000miles in a day on those few occasions too. (TBO only also)

Damn right. I was hit with that truth last night, For myself it was a problem with the brakes and overheating the front tyres on braking.
With the race venue being random there was limited time to test the car, and that oversight with the braking bias cost me the race. But that made it quite fun indeed may i add.
One thing i will say that I strongly believe to be paramount to set building and tuning a cars handling. Is first to drive just one set without chaging it, till you can feel everything! Obviously its wise to use one you feel comfotable with already. Once you have become totally familar with that feel the car & set provides, I think it is only at that point where you can really progress in how the chosen vehicle responds to your adjustments. Obviously though some people pick that up fast some don't, and even now with all the miles I've clocked in this simulator I am still trying to perfect a GTT/XRT set for FE4
Some nice racing with plenty of incidents, thought tbh what im most upset about is that trudi finished race 2!
I knew as soon as saw the tyre bouncing in the chicane that I was doomed. Gotta admit though it was quite a stylish wreck i walked from.
Anyway a little later on (After calming down) I decided to dl the replay, seemed lap 10 in race 2 was quite a lap indeed!
Race 1 was some hard racing, i really did think i had it in the bag.
Esp after pulling out my fastest lap on the last moments of qualifying to take pole.
But a bad set, i say bad as the brakes being a little to strong with bias to the front, caused locking on the front right and i couldn't keep them cool. Everytime i glanced in my mirror i saw that car of troys, get closer and closer
Then the inevitble happened i killed tyres totally into T1, and never recovered. From 1st to 5th in the last few laps
Looking forward to another random fun race, where i can hopefully take revenge against trudi!!!

Hey im open to negotation. but a quick update, 7900 is sold and also the Standard XMS ram.
Edit* Btw both those AMD CPU's are tested and both do 3ghz on air with good cooler obviously and motherboard no doubt.
Both are still under warranty.
